Campers Inn, a New Hampshire-based dealership with locations across the East Coast, announced that its newest location in Jacksonville, Fla., is officially open for business.
According to a press release, the former Rivers RV site was reopened on Jan. 28 as Campers Inn. The company, which retained 95% of the existing staff, said it has spent the last few months rebranding the dealership and training employees to ensure a smooth transition.
Campers Inn of Jacksonville will have an official grand opening at the start of the camping season this spring and will also participate in the upcoming Jacksonville Florida RV Trade Association (FRVTA) Show in February.
With Campers Inn’s goal of continued growth in 2014, CEO and owner Jeff Hirsch stated, “Larry Schaffer (Rivers RV owner) and I had a great working relationship through this transition. This was an exciting time for both companies, and we look forward to the future. As Campers Inn continues to grow we hope to provide choice for those RV pioneers’ when making the decision to retire or leave the industry, and we believe we will serve the industry well with choice.”
