National RV accessories retailer Camping World Inc. recently opened three new stores, upping its total to 63, and is on target to add another 20 to 25 stores in 2007.
“We are very much on target with our plans to reach these goals because we have the focus, talent and processes in place to make it happen efficiently,” said Camping World CEO Marcus Lemonis, noting the company is looking to expand to 100 stores in 2008.
According to a press release, the three new outlets are in the Metro Atlanta area co-located with Camping Time RV, which is part of the FreedomRoads national chain of RV dealerships.
The largest of the three Camping Time stores boasts 9,200 square feet and the other facilities are 2,900 square feet.
“The fact that we are opening three stores in these markets indicates that they are large and important for our company,” said Bruce Wright, regional vice president for Bowling Green, Ky.-based Camping World.
