Camping World has entered into the cargo trailer arena with the introduction of the new Freediom Hauler.
In a press release, the national dealership network said that the rollout will include 13 supercenter locations with “plans to expand into additional markets by year-end.”
“Advancement into cargo trailers is the next step in a series of planned ventures this year,” said Marcus Lemonis, chairman and CEO of Camping World. “We recognize that the trailer and towing industry is an established marketplace and providing durable trailers is a natural addition to our trusted private label brand.”
Camping World said the cargo trailers would be added to the company’s retail offerings and be displayed alongside RVs at the dealerships.
“We are thrilled to showcase the Freedom Hauler in our retail facilities,” said John A. Sirpilla, president of Camping World retail operations. “This further demonstrates our commitment to meeting the needs of our diverse and ever growing consumer base.
“By offering affordable yet complete hauling services for cars, motorcycles, ATV’s and construction equipment we continue to solidify our position as a one-stop shopping destination for the outdoor enthusiast.”
