Camping World recently was named a Top 50 Internet retailer by Internet Retailer magazine, according to the RV accessories store chain.
Camping World, which includes 30 retail stores nationwide and a mail-order business that produces more than 1,500 orders a day, was named to Internet Retailer’s Best of the Web listing in the specialty/nonapparel category.
Internet Retailer publishes a national trade magazine and hosts a website targeted at “e-commerce strategies for merchants and catalogers.”
In addition to Camping World, Internet Retailer’s Top 50 includes high-profile companies Best Buy, Starbucks, Crate & Barrel, eBay, Amazon and Lands’ End. The recognition covers seven categories of retailers.
Other online merchants recognized by Internet Retailer in the specialty/nonapparel category were Altrec, BackcountryStore, Cabela’s, FOA Schwarz, J.C. Whitney, MLB.com/Shop, Oriental Trading and SmartBargains.
