The Alabama site, Camping World of Oxford, is located off I-20 and marks Camping World’s second full-service location in the Birmingham market.
“We’ve experienced tremendous success at our Calera, Alabama location and are excited to expand our efforts in the Birmingham market with this second supercenter in Anniston,” commented Marcus Lemonis, CEO and chairman of Camping World and Good Sam and host of CNBC’s The Profit. “The opening of this location builds on our continued efforts to bring greater, convenient access to our customers’ RV sales, service and accessories needs throughout this community and across the country.”
The grand opening will run March 11-21 with a ribbon cutting ceremony on March 12 at 10 a.m. attended by the Chamber of Commerce, and a live radio remote on March 14.
Camping World of Rapid City, located in South Dakota off I-90, represents the company’s first full-service location in the state, and is in close proximity to local attractions such as Mount Rushmore and Black Hills.
“It’s an exciting time for us as we enter this market in great state of South Dakota, given the rich history and tourism appeal of the greater Rapid City community,” said Lemonis. “We are elated to provide customers with this convenient supercenter that can fulfill all of their outdoor and RV needs in one place, from thousands of accessories to RV sales and service.”
The grand opening celebration is set for March 18-28, highlighted by a March 20 ribbon cutting along with customer prizes and giveaways. In addition to a light lunch and refreshments served after the ribbon cutting, complimentary lunch and refreshments will be served on Saturdays during the grand opening event.
