Recreational vehicle accessories retailer Camping World Inc. has opened a new SuperCenter in Las Vegas co-located with Las Vegas RV, part of the FreedomRoads dealer network.
According to a press release, the new outlet is the company’s second in the high-traffic Las Vegas market as Camping World already operates a store in nearby Henderson.
The new store features 2,800 square feet of retail space and shares 25 service bays with Las Vegas RV.
“Having two Camping World stores in the same market demonstrates that there is a tremendous demand for our products and services here,” noted John Flores, Camping World of Las Vegas general manager. “It’s more than just the local market. Las Vegas is traversed by large numbers of RV enthusiasts visiting the areas or passing through and we’re here for them.”
With the opening, Camping World now operates 64 stores nationwide. The company expects to add another 15 to 20 additional stores in 2007 and to be at the 100 mark by 2008.
“We are growing in our capacity to serve more and more people getting into the RV lifestyle all over the country, a number which is very substantial,” said Marcus Lemonis, CEO for Bowling Green, Ky.-based Camping World. “Working alongside FreedomRoads dealers like Las Vegas RV, Camping World is succeeding in giving our customers the best products and services possible.”
