Canadian recreational vehicle rental firm CanaDream Corp. reported an increase in revenue and earnings for the company’s first half of the fiscal year, ended Oct. 31.
During the six-month period, Calgary, Alberta-based CanaDream posted sales of $12.8 million, an 18.3% increase from $10.8 million the previous year, while earnings increased 31% to $2.68 million compared to $2.05 million.
The company reported investment in the rental fleet was $22.3 million, representing a 57% increase from the same period a year ago.
The company noted that its core RV rental business is seasonal in nature, with the majority of its revenue being earned during the May to October period.
