RV rental firm CanaDream Corp.  announced record financial results for its fiscal first quarter ended July 31.

Revenue for the period was $16.3 million compared to $14.1 million the year prior while net and comprehensive income totaled$4.2 million, up from $12 million. Diluted earnings per share also rose from 17 cents a year ago to 21 cents.

The company reported that guest revenue increased 9% due to increased guest fleet utilization and higher average nightly revenue. Fleet sales revenue increased 33% due to a higher volume of unit sales of guest fleet and fleet inventory combined with a higher average selling price. Operating expenses increased 9%.
