Canadian RV rental firm CanaDream Corp. increased revenues in fiscal 2004 despite 34.5% decline in profits, the company reported Thursday (July 22).
The drop in profits was largely because of the sale of land and buildings in the previous year, CanaDream officials said in a written statement.
The Calgary-based company reported a 5% increase in revenues to $12.4 million (Canadian) from $11.8 million in 2003.
“Increased revenues reflected the continuing strong demand for our products despite continued negative geopolitical (primarily international terrorism) and domestic (SARS and BSE) events,” the statement said.
