Canadian RV rental firm CanaDream Corp. reports its sales increased 23% during its fiscal year 2000, which ended April 30.
CanaDream also earned $1.1 million (Canadian) during the 12 months ended April 30, compared with a loss of $2.3 million (Canadian) on sales of $8.3 million (Canadian) during the 17 months ended April 30, 1999.
One Canadian dollar is equivalent to almost 68 cents in U.S. currency.
CanaDream’s sales during its fiscal year 2000 totaled $10.2 million (Canadian).
Bookings were up 10.5% so far in August, when compared with August 1999, said Brian Gronberg, president.
The company is looking to increase productivity through the development of more Internet strategies in addition to its online direct booking system (CORA). The company also is looking for joint ventures, acquisitions and alliances with other companies in the tourism business, Gronberg said.
