The Recreation Vehicle Association’s Nominating Committee has selected 14 candidates for seven board seats up for election next month.
Incumbent Dale Zimmerman, vice president of production and product development at Sunline Coach, and Bryan Tillet, president of Peterson Industries, Inc. will be vying for one towable seat.
The four candidates running for two at-large seats that have three-year terms include: Incumbent Jim Sheldon, special assistant to the chair at Monaco Coach Corp.; incumbent Stan Sunshine, president and CEO of Stag-Parkway; Chris Braun, senior vice president RV Group of Fleetwood Enterprises Inc.; and Dave Lane, president of TCL Sales & Distribution.
The four candidates seeking two seats with three-year terms in the supplier category are incumbent Gregg Fore, president of Dicor Corp.; incumbent Al Ruhl, vice president of Manchester Tank; Jason Lippert, president of Lippert Components; and Jim Gilbertson, vice president of Seating/Metal Products for Flexsteel Industries.
Incumbent Jeff Rutherford, president of Carefree of Colorado and John Regan, president of Fabric Services, will vie for a two-year term in the supplier category.
In the contest for a van-conversion three-year term, Rod McSweeney, president of Southern Comfort and Don Waldoch, president of Waldoch Crafts, are on the slate.
The official representatives from RVIA member companies will elect candidates in each category to serve on the Board of Directors. Election ballots are scheduled to be mailed br the RVIA in early August and must be returned by Aug. 27 to be counted. All terms begin on Oct. 1.
