The RV industry will be showcased this evening (Aug. 24) on the CBS Evening News as network correspondent Jim Axelrod stops in Indiana while traveling coast-to-coast along I-80 reporting on the impact of gasoline prices.
Tonight’s segment features Axelrod’s Price Patrol touring the Monaco Coach Corp. facility in Wakarusa, including an interview with Recreation Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA) President Dave Humphreys.
Axelrod also visited gas stations along I-80 to get a first-hand opinion on how pump prices are affecting RV travel and summer vacations.
The segment is the third in a weeklong series airing nightly on CBS.
Previously, Axelrod’s crew received input on rising gas prices at the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pa., followed by a trip to renowned Cedar Point amusement park in Sandusky, Ohio.
