Cequent Performance Products Inc. (CPP) announced its selection as a “Cool Place to Work in Michigan.”

According to a press release, hundreds of companies submit an application in the biennial competition, but after the results of the employer and employee questionnaires are complete, only 75 are chosen to be among “Michigan’s Cool Places to Work.” The designation, decided upon by Crain’s Detroit Business Magazine, is a first for Cequent, a subsidiary of TriMas Corp.

“It’s a great accomplishment to be recognized as a ‘Cool Place to Work,’” said CPP President Tom Benson. “This award not only symbolizes the bright, family atmosphere we have at Cequent, it showcases the collaboration amongst our employees.”
