According to a press release, the online system guides users through a step-by-step process of selecting the correct gooseneck hitch for their specific vehicle make and model. The tool is similar to that of Cequent’s existing selection technologies.
“We recognize the trend of more and more people shopping online first before visiting a brick and mortar store,” said Tom Romero, director of sales and technical training. “This tool allows consumers to educate themselves before making a purchase.”
The updates to this particular selection tool come shortly after the unveiling of the new fifth-wheel selector, also designed and implemented by Cequent’s marketing and media team.
“Similar to our other hitch and accessory matching tools, this allows consumers to research and select what components work best with their vehicles,” said Dave Rogers, CPP internet and media specialist. “The gooseneck selector, along with our entire repertoire of fit guides, eliminates confusion about what parts are needed prior to installation.”
The Fit Guide tool for the gooseneck selector can be found on Cequent’s Draw-Tite website. Fit Guides for additional products are also available at this time.
