The new Coachmen Galleria Class B motorhome is now equipped with Xantrex FREEDOM eGEN lithium ion system, which won a RISE Award for innovation and supplier excellence at the RVX 2019 event.
According to a press release, the independent panel of judges included “Rollin on TV” personalities Jeff Johnston and Mark Polk who said the system “pushes the envelope on RV power.”
The new Galleria model features many upgrades, including an efficient 20,000 Btu air conditioner from ProAir. According to tests conducted by Coachmen, the FREEDOM eGEN lithium ion system can run the ProAir air conditioner for up to 10 hours.
FREEDOM eGEN is a fully integrated system that provides grid quality 120V/60Hz true sine wave AC and a steady DC battery power in all climate conditions. The system eliminates a generator altogether, the release stated.
It supports charging from both the second alternator and shore power offering flexibility and fast recharge, allowing RVers to enjoy dry camping without worrying about batteries or power.
