RV and modular homebuilder Coachmen Industries Inc. announced today (June 19) that it has hired a new CFO and a new vice president of human resources.

Joseph P. Tomczak, 45, until recently the CFO of supplier/distributor Kevco Inc., was named a Coachmen executive vice president and CFO.

Kevco was in bankruptcy and the last of its operating assets were sold effective June 1.

Prior to working for Kevco, Tomczak, a CPA, held senior financial positions with Outboard Marine Corp., Alliant Foodservice Inc. (formerly Kraft Foodservice Inc.), Heller International Corp. and American Hospital Supply Corp.

Tomczak will join Coachmen effective July 2.

Meanwhile, Coachmen also hired William Lenhart, 52, to be senior vice president of human resources.

Most recently, Lenhart was vice president of human resources for Svedala Industries Inc., a manufacturer of equipment used in mining and mineral processing. He also has held senior human resources positions with Arandel Corp. and St. Mary’s Medical Center.
