Coachmen Industries Inc. today (Dec. 5) announced that Joseph P. Tomczak, executive vice president and CFO, will be leaving the company to pursue other opportunities.
Rick Lavers will replace Tomczak as CFO while retaining his duties as executive vice president – general counsel and corporate secretary.
According to Elkhart, Ind.-based Coachmen, Lavers will be responsible for the accounting, treasury, and compliance functions, in addition to his legal and human resources responsibilities.
“We wish Joe the best of success in his new endeavors, and thank him for his many contributions during the past four years,” said Chairman and CEO Claire C. Skinner. “At the same time, we are very pleased to have Rick resume the role of Chief Financial Officer, which he filled so capably on an interim basis in 2001.”
Lavers has served as the company’s general counsel since 1997, and as the corporate secretary and a member of the executive management committee since 1999.
Coachmen also announced that Colleen Zuhl, vice president and controller, has been promoted to the position of chief accounting officer.
