Hundreds of outdoor hospitality professionals from around the continent will meet in San Diego on Sunday for The Coast to Coast 2004 International CampResort Conference & Exposition.
The conference, whose theme is “Waves of Change – A New Coast to Coast is Cresting” will showcase Coast to Coast Resorts’ new reservation system, Tripsetter, a new method of trip and travel planning, and a slate of new member benefits.
The conference runs from Sunday through Tuesday at the Westin Horton Plaza.
Attendees will be updated on the firm’sFastTrack 5 sales and marketing effort, which includes several new lead-generation programs and sales incentive certificates, resort operation training and acquisition strategies.
The conference also will feature a variety of workshop sessions, exhibits, and guest speakers, including Gene Kranz, leader of the “Tiger Team” of flight directors that brought the Apollo 13 spacecraft safely back to Earth on April 17, 1970, and Joe Calloway, a nationally recognized expert on performance and competitive factors. They will speak at 9 a.m. and noon Monday, respectively.
Additionally, the conference will feature a “Meet the Experts” Industry Panel and several roundtable discussions, including the following: How to Access Development Opportunities, Dealing with Do Not Call Regulations, The Coast to Coast Reservation System, Resort Operations: The New Coast to Coast, and Fast Track 2004/Lead Generation Programs.
“Waves of Change” kicks off on Sunday with a shotgun scramble at the Rancho Bernardo Inn Golf Course. The top performers and hospitality providers in the industry will be recognized at an awards dinner on Monday.
Coast to Coast Resorts is the largest reciprocal-use campground system in North America and facilitator of a network of private membership CampResorts that cater to both outdoor enthusiasts and RV owners. The 31-year-old company also coordinates a system of “Good Neighbor Parks,” which are privately owned campgrounds that are open to the public.
