Coast to Coast is launching three initiatives this summer to help attract new members and make the sales process smoother for its staff and customers.
New offerings include:

  • Coast to Coast Gold, a premium membership allowing the flexibility to make an exchange for vacation time at another participating resort around the globe.
  • FreeView, providing non-members an opportunity to try out membership camping before signing up.
  • A newly published Coast Resort Sales Resource Guide will provide sales process guidelines, definitions and details as a handy reference tool for sales teams.
    “With the price of travel on the rise, more people are discovering the benefits of private membership camping, which takes the uncertainty of researching and booking a quality destination out of the equation, while providing the freedom to visit hundreds of top-notch resorts around the country,” said Bruce Hoster, president of Coast to Coast Resorts. “These new initiatives make it easier for future and existing members to get the most out of what a Coast to Coast membership offers.”
    Coast to Coast has teamed with Interval International, the leading vacation exchange network, to launch Coast to Coast Gold, a membership that combines the benefits of two existing membership programs, Coast Deluxe and Interval Gold. Coast Gold members will be able to exchange a week’s stay at their home resort for a stay at another Coast to Coast Gold resort, or for a vacation condominium at an available (comparable) resort in Interval’s global network. Members will also be able to purchase condominium getaways for their family members and friends.
    Additional Interval Gold privileges include Interval Options, which provides members with more variety in their vacation choices. For example, members can relinquish a cabin week at their home resort toward the purchase of an entirely different vacation experience, such as a cruise, spa package or a golf vacation.
    Through the newly launched FreeView program, camping enthusiasts have the opportunity to experience a complimentary three-day, two-night resort visit at a premium Coast to Coast CampResort. During their stay, they will learn the benefits of private membership camping, which includes discount rates on campsites, cabin and condo rentals, hotels and cruises. They also receive a CampResort tour.
    Marketing efforts for Coast to Coast FreeView include advertisements in Affinity Media-owned Highways, MotorHome, Trailer Life and RV View magazines, reaching a combined circulation of 2.2 million along with creation of a branded website, www.ExperienceCTC.com.
    The new Coast Resort Sales Resource Guide is a complete binder of information on Coast to Coast membership, including details and descriptions of membership benefits, sales tools and using Coast in the sales process. It also contains detailed directions for using Tripsetter, Coast’s proprietary Internet-based reservation system, as well as membership rules and policies. Copies of the guide are being distributed to network CampResort sales teams.
    A Coast to Coast membership include a subscription to Coast to Coast Magazine and travel services, with additional benefits such as cabin and condominium rental, trip routing, and dining and leisure discounts. Coast to Coast offers Tripsetter, a Web and phone reservation system, which provides a simple way to reserve a space to stay. Many membership RV resorts offer unexpected features and amenities like water parks, fishing and golf.
