colonial-airstream-logoColonial Airstream of Lakewood N.J., swept the top honors in all three sales categories for the 2009 model year for Airstream Inc.

Colonial was first in travel trailer sales, first in motorhome sales and thus won the overall cumulative sales category as well, Jackson Center, Ohio-based Airstream announced.

“This is really an outstanding accomplishment,” said Larry Huttle, Airstream chairman. “But, what is really outstanding, is the fact that they accomplished this during these challenging times and against some very formidable competition.”

George M. Sutton RV of Eugene, Ore., and Bates RV of Dover, Fla., placed second and third respectively, in the travel trailer category.

“This year’s competition was pretty tight,” said Huttle. “We had 10 dealers that were producing some solid results. In these challenging conditions, I am very proud of these dealers.”

The rest of the top 10 travel trailer dealers in order were: Southwest Coaches, Irvine, Calif.; Toscano Recreation Center, Los Banos, Calif.; Airstream of Arkansas, Searcy, Ark.; Can-AM Trailers, London, Ontario; Camper Clinic, Buda, Texas; Bill Thomas Camper Sales, Wentzville, Mo.; Ardell Brown, Draper, Utah; and Windish RV Center, Lakewood, Colo.

The other top motorhome dealers following Colonial Airstream were: Bates RV, Dover, Fla.;  Ballards Freedom RV, Selma, Texas; Toscano RV, Los Banos, Calif.; and Holland Motor Homes, Holland, Mich.
