A new consumer-oriented website, RVs.com, will be launched tomorrow (Feb. 18), offering access to real-time RV inventory, equipment and accessories along with lifestyle information.
According to a press release, RVs.com is being marketed through “partnerships with all Camping World retail locations and FreedomRoads RV dealerships nationwide.”
The launch is timed to coincide with this weekend’s Daytona 500. FreedomRoads LLC, Camping World and RVs.com are co-sponsoring the No. 10 ppc Racing Ford driven by John Andretti for 28 races during the 2006 NASCAR Busch Series.
In addition to featuring new and used inventory for sale, RVs.com enables RV owners to sell their rigs on their own, obtain financing and insurance, and purchase accessories.
The new site also provides RV-specific information about campgrounds, clubs, publications, safety, rallies and events, and employment opportunities in the industry.
“This site has been extremely well thought out in terms of serving the needs of the RV enthusiast on many levels to the extent that it will become a home base for a substantial segment of the market,” said Dan Conley, director of communications for RVs.com.
