Cooper’s RV Center is getting set to open a new location in Pennsylvania’s Allegheny Township.

The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reported that supervisors recently voted 3-0 to give the go-ahead for owner Keith Conard to open a sales and service location for recreational vehicles along Route 356.

Conard approached the township a little more than a year ago, saying he has outgrown his present location in the Sardis Hill section of Murrysville.

The business has been selling recreational vehicles and campers there since 1951.

Before Conard can open, he has to get a highway occupancy permit from PennDOT, a lighting plan must be submitted to township officials that ensures neighbors won’t be bothered and the township and the state Department of Environmental Protection must approve any future excavation.
