Country Coach Inc. concluded a two-year top-to-bottom redesign of its diesel pusher brands with the introduction of the 2006 Intrique 530 at the Family Motor Coach Association (FMCA) 73rd International Convention March 21-24 at the Georgia National Fairgrounds, Perry, Ga. Featuring three quad-slide floorplans in lengths of 40 to 45 feet, the Intrique 530 is equipped with opposing flat-floor slideouts in the living area and six-foot, ten-inch interior ceilings. “The flat floor slideouts gives you the ability to option sofas on both sides or install floor to ceiling windows,” said Matt Howard, director of marketing for the Junction City, Ore., high-line manufacturer. “The coach opens up and feels more like a home.” Interior amenities include polished solid-surface countertops, wood galley window boxes, tile flooring and queen beds. Built on Country Coach’s 45,200-pound GVWR semi-monocoque DynoMax chassis and equipped with a Cummins 8.9L 400-hp ISL diesel engine – a 535-hp Cat engine is optional – the Intrigue 530 retails from $421,810.
