Country_Coach_Friends_logo-290x145Country Coach Friends Inc. continued its tradition of giving back to communities where rallies are held, helping a local charity during a May 12-17 event in Kerrville, Texas.

According to a press release, 86 motorcoach enthusiasts from nine states stretching from Florida to Washington and from Minnesota to Texas rallied at the Buckhorn Lake Resort and raised $22,330 to benefit Veterans Assistance Dogs of Texas. Country Coach Friends is an international chapter of the Family Motor Coach Association (FMCA).

Veterans Assistance Dogs of Texas mission is to assist in the physical and emotional recovery and independence of American veterans with disabilities by providing service dogs. Learn more at http://www.vadogs.org/

Last year with just 36 coaches in attendance at its annual Friendship Rally in Albany, Ore., the club raised $8,565 to benefit two food banks in the Junction City/Harrisburg area where all Country Coaches were built. Earlier in 2014 at the CCFI Spring Rally in Beaux Bridge, La., Country Coach Friends raised $10,435 for the Wounded Warriors.

Country Coach Friends was founded on friendship with 42 motorcoach owners signing up at the initial rally in 2011. It now numbers more than 300 coach families and is growing. For more information visit CountryCoachFriendsIncorporated.com.
