Highline motorhome builder Country Coach Inc., Junction City, Ore., has been approved by Transport Canada for import into the Canadian provinces while also gaining inclusion on the “CSA Certified” list by the independent Canadian Standards Association (CSA).
According to a press release, Transport Canada approval allows current Country Coach dealers in the U.S. to sell new Country Coach motorcoaches to Canadian citizens wishing to import their vehicles into Canada.
CSA approval ensures that new owners, specifically those who live in the CSA-subscribing provinces of Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba, may easily register their listed Country Coach motorcoaches.
Country Coach said it has been actively pursuing these endorsements, which allow the company to expand into the Canadian RV market.
“This is a very significant achievement,” said Jim Howard, vice president of sales and service. “Our current dealers in the United States can now sell Country Coaches to Canadian citizens with full confidence that they will be able to import them into Canada. We are in the process of actively recruiting sales and service centers throughout the Canadian provinces.”
