The Recreational Dealer Cooperative Association/Priority RV Network board of directors has named Mike Regan, president of Crestview RV in Georgetown and Buda, Texas, as its president for 2015-16. The board voted Regan president after its 17th annual Priority RV Network Annual Meeting, held April 8-10 at the M Resort Spa & Casino Hotel in Henderson, Nev.
According to a press release, the Priority RV Network also announced that it has added Sierra RV Super Center of Reno, Nev., owned by Paul and Cathie MacDonald, to its list of member-dealers.
Regan replaces long-time president Michael Peay, president of Holiday World of Katy, League City, Mesquite and Willis, Texas, and Las Cruces, N.M., who moves up to the newly created position of board chairman. Regan is responsible for the day-to-day operations and communications, working with Corey Ruzicka, executive director of Priority RV.
“It’s an honor to be president of the finest RV dealer organization in the world,” said Regan. “With a record 75 dealer shareholders and a record number of 107 dealer locations and suppliers, this organization has seen unbelievable record growth, revenues and rebates over the past four years.”
Peay will assist the board in short- and long-term strategic planning. “We want to elevate this organization to even newer accomplishments,” said Regan, “and Michael will be working with all other board members and myself in these visionary efforts. Plus, we have a lot of new ideas and projects we want to bring to market for our dealers and RV consumers.”
Greg Lala, CEO and president of Dixie RV Superstores in Louisiana and Florida, was named vice-president while Brian Wilkins, president and CEO of Wilkins RV in New York, remains secretary. Long-time Treasurer Mark Bretz, president and CEO of Bretz RV & Marine in Montana and Idaho, continues as treasurer.
The dealers elected Steve Richardson, president and CEO of Richardson’s RV Centers in California to a board position replacing 10-year board member Earl Stoltzfus, president and CEO of Stoltzfus RV and Marine in Pennsylvania. Steve Plemmons, of Rural Hall, N.C.-based Bill Plemmons RV World, remains on the seven-member board.
Katherine Brackett, of Bretz RV & Marine, continues as Priority’s executive administrative assistant, and chief financial consultant Hardee McAlhaney retains his position as the group’s CFO.
The Priority RV Network, formerly REDEX, obtains products such as retail financing, parts and accessories, finance and insurance, and other products in bulk purchases. All dealers have voting rights and access to the group’s financials in a network that provides its retail buyers with reciprocal emergency service in its U.S. stores as well as those operated by Canada’s 60 independent RV Care network dealerships – a total of 167 North American service locations.
