Topeka, Ind.-based towable manufacturer CrossRoads RV announced the introduction of the Sonoma, the newest floorplan in its lineup of Elevation fifth-wheel toy haulers.
According to a press release, the Sonoma boasts a full profile exterior with a painted fiberglass cap that incorporates the Elevation signature automotive grade front window.
“We continue to receive an enormous amount of positive feedback about our front-window models, not only from our dealer body, but mostly from the retail consumer,” said Erick Esch, product manager for CrossRoads, a Thor Industries Inc. subsidiary. “This concept has allowed us to create our own identity within this extremely competitive environment. The Sonoma king-bed master suite includes opposing slides, which brings to market the largest bedroom of any toy hauler. In addition, the Sonoma has a front bedroom sofa area, which absolutely creates a true-to-form master bedroom retreat.”
The widebody toy hauler also features the first electric induction cooktop. The glass induction cooktop is coupled with a 30-inch residential convection oven, center island kitchen sink, glass patio slider door along with a “full and true” 13-foot cargo area.
“We continue to see a growing demand for larger cargo capacities without sacrificing much of the living and bedroom areas. Families are becoming more involved in what I like to call ‘action camping,’ which means each person wants their own four-wheeled machine, motorcycle, kayak, or other toy,” said Esch.
Additional standard features of the Sonoma include, three door-side power awnings with LED lighting, hydraulic six-point auto-leveling, two 30 gallon fuel tanks, Onan 5.5 KW generator, rear cargo pull-down screen, Dyson cordless vacuum, iCool memory foam mattress, 12 cubic foot gas/electric refrigerator, and a 32-inch LED bedroom TV.
