CrossRoads RV, a manufacturer of travel trailers and fifth-wheels headquartered in Topeka, Ind., has acquired the former Starcraft Marine property located at 201 Starcraft Drive, also in Topeka, the company announced today (April 28).

The acquisition will provide approximately 276,000 square feet in additional manufacturing space on about 44 acres of additional land. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The expansion provides the capacity needed to accommodate the company’s continued growing business. It will also support the move of satellite operations onto the primary campus in Topeka, allowing for improved access for PDI inspection, rain booth testing and proximity to engineering and design resources.

“We are pleased to have the opportunity to grow our operations in Topeka,” CrossRoads RV President Andy Cripe said. “We view this investment as a critical step to meet our current production needs as well as our long term strategic plans.”

CrossRoads RV manufactures a wide variety of travel trailers and fifth wheels. Its products are distributed through dealers throughout the United States, Canada, France, Japan and Australia. CrossRoads RV is part of the Thor Industries family of companies, which, combined, represent one of the world’s largest manufacturers of recreational vehicles.
