The Canadian Recreational Vehicle Association (CRVA) announced that it will hold its next Annual General Meeting June 19-21 in St. John’s, Newfoundland. According to a press release, the occasion will mark the very first time in its 42-year history that CRVA will hold a board meeting in the province of Newfoundland.
Joining CRVA at their Annual General Meeting will be representatives from the Recreation Vehicle Dealers Association (RVDA) of Canada, the Canadian Camping and RV Council and Go RVing Canada to bring together the national associations representing each stakeholder in the Canadian RV and campground industries.
“We wanted to hold our 2018 Annual General Meeting in Newfoundland to help symbolize that CRVA and our industry partners represent all of Canada and every province has been a key contributor to the tremendous growth and popularity of the RV Industry” said Jeff McDermott, CRVA chairman. “Newfoundland’s scenic beauty and unique experiences have always been a desired destination for North American RVers and this is our way to help celebrate and acknowledge Newfoundland’s contribution to our success.”
CRVA and its partners will be holding a reception on the evening of June 20 at the Delta St. John’s Conference Centre and is extending an invitation to RV dealerships and campgrounds in the area to come by and meet representatives from each association.
