Cummins Power Generation Inc. has bought out the developer of a warehouse that, until recently, shared the 406,000-square-foot space with the manufacturer in Fridley, Minn.
Finance & Commerce reported that the buyout totaled $18.7 million for the facility just south of Cummins Power Generation offices.
Columbus, Ind.-based Cummins Inc., which makes engines, filtration and power generation products, has been in the facility since 1999, when it was built by Minneapolis-based Murphy Warehouse. Murphy kept space in the building for years, but in recent weeks consolidated its operations elsewhere in Fridley and Eagan, and Cummins bought the property outright.
Cummins Power Generation supplies diesel, gasoline and propane generators to the RV industry.
