Cummins Inc. has had FunRoads.com, the Web site it sponsors, re-designed to make it more useful and attractive to RV enthusiasts.

The supplier of diesel engines and Onan electric power generators to RV industry customers, wants FunRoads.com to become “an online destination that RV enthusiasts will visit regularly,” said Kelly Larson, director of RV e-business at Cummins.

“The RV community can now use FunRoads.com to access driving directions from MapQuest, traffic conditions from TrafficStation.com and weather reports from Accuweather.com,” Larson said. “And they can readily find appliance manufacturers and service locations across the country, too.”

FunRoads.com also will include “community features to facilitate socialization and interaction between RVers,” she added.

Centrifusion Inc., of Chicago, redesigned and launched the upgraded version of FunRoads.com.

Future plans for FunRoads.com include the installation of “interwoven content management software” to provide “fresh, relevant content to users,” according to a Centrifusion/Cummins statement.
