According to a press release, all three supercenters are former Tom Raper RV locations. Camping World finalized the acquisition in March.
The stores will be holding grand opening events July 30 through Aug. 8 and are joining a dealer network that spans over 100 U.S. locations. The release noted that the outlets offer a Camping World retail store on-site and are located in prime retail locations including:
• Camping World of Columbus in London is a short drive from many RV parks and campgrounds.
• Camping World of Richmond is in the heart of the city which showcases many historic districts, museums and several RV parks and campgrounds.
• Camping World of Cincinnati in Fairfield is in close proximity to museums, sports recreations and one of the nation’s best zoos.
“We are elated to provide our new customers and the patrons of the previous Tom Raper RV dealerships with these convenient supercenters that can fulfill all of their outdoor and RV needs in one place, from thousands of accessories to RV sales and service,” said Marcus Lemonis, CEO and chairman of Camping World and Good Sam and host of CNBC’s “The Profit.”
Grand opening celebrations will feature price specials, door prizes and a ribbon cutting ceremony on July 31 attended by members of the local chambers of commerce. Lemonis will also visit each site to meet and greet local customers, and a free lunch will be offered on Saturdays during the grand opening on Aug. 1 and Aug. 8 from 11 a.m. to 1.p.m.
