Responding to a customer who didn’t want to track the outdoors into his living room, Damon Motor Coach is offering this triple-slideout, front-kitchen 2006 Tuscany diesel pusher. Damon displayed the front-kitchen floorplan at the Family Motor Coach Association’s 75th Annual Convention March 20-23 at the Fairplex in Pomona, Calif. “We got the idea from one of our customers at the Great North American Rally last year who wondered if we had a mid-door coach that would open into the kitchen, rather than the living room,” said Dave Miller, vice president of sales and product development for the Elkhart, Ind., manufacturer’s diesel division. “We started playing around with the idea and came up with the idea of a front kitchen instead of a mid-coach door. It allows a cleaner environment coming in the door.” Built on a 31,000-pound Freightliner XC raised rail chassis with a 350-hp Caterpillar C7 diesel engine, this $207,000 (base retail) four-slideout Tuscany model comes with standard ceramic tile floors, aluminum wheels and full body paint.
