Damon Motor Coach has redesigned the front cap of the 2007 Astoria diesel pusher motorhome series to incorporate chrome accents and Damon’s first one-piece windshield. The 2007 Astoria – on a 28,000-pound GVWR Freightliner raised rail XC chassis equipped with a 300-hp Cummins ISB diesel engine – is available in four floorplans, including Astoria’s first triple-slide layout. With vinyl tile floors, solid wood, raised-panel cabinet doors, labrequin window treatments and cut-glass French doors into the bedroom, few options are available. “We are reducing the number of options in our coaches,” said Damon President Bill Fenech. “Dealers want it simple; customers want it simple.” Available in lengths of 34-37 feet, Astoria retails from $145,000.
