Damon Motor Coach, Elkhart, Ind., recently announced two promotions along with a restructuring in the company’s sales and product development divisions to separate Damon’s gas and diesel products.
Newly appointed President Bill Fenech, formerly executive vice-president and co-founder of Thor Industries sister company Keystone RV Co., said in a press release that Damon named Dave Miller as vice president of sales and product development/diesel models and Dave Olson as vice president of sales and product development/gas models.
Fenech said the division of product types is the “best way to focus energy and attention on the two kinds of motorhomes.
“This will also allow our product development teams and salespeople to become experts in their respective products so that they can create hot, innovative products and offer excellent training and support at the retail sales level. Damon’s future will be more focused than in the recent past, targeting affordably priced gas and diesel Class A motorhomes.”
Damon was purchased by Thor Industries Inc., of Jackson Center, Ohio, in September 2003.
