The Mobile Electronics Division of Datron/Transco Inc. introduced its Cruise TVSTS in-motion satellite TV tracking system today (March 19) at the Great North American RV Rally in Perry, Ga.
The rally is sponsored by Affinity Group Inc, parent of TL Enterprises Inc., publisher of RV Business magazine and rvbusiness.com.
The rally will continue through Friday (March 23).
The Cruise TVSTS is only 9 1/2 inches high, making it the lowest profile satellite TV system on the market, according to the company.
Because of its low profile design, Cruise TVSTS eliminates overhead clearance problems while offering more than 200 channels of live, digital audio and video programming from DIRECTV.
“Of particular interest to our RV customers are the unique and attractive radome designs of the STS, providing an attractive alternative to the conventional radome styles of the past,” said Rick Carver, director of the mobile electronics division of Datron/Transco, a unit of Simi Valley, Calif.-based Datron Inc.
Datron is offering Cruise TVSTS through its OEM and dealer network at a suggested retail price of $3,295.
