Daniel Paul Castagna, Brookfield, Conn., the former owner of Crestwood RV and Marine Inc., died Monday (Jan. 30). Castanga, 69, was born Oct. 19, 1942, in Hartford, Conn., and lived most of his life in Eastchester, N.Y. He was the son to the late Armand Castagna.
Castagna was a member of St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Church and also a member of the Newtown Ski Club. He was the owner of Crestwood RV and Marine in Tuckahoe, N.Y., for 38 years, selling the dealership in 2005. Castagna also owned in dealership in Milford, Conn., from 1973 to 1978.He had a great love for his family. He loved boating, golf, music and traveling.
He is survived by his wife, Michele, and his mother, Josephine (DiPippo) Castagna; two sons, Daniel C. Castagna and his wife Ruth of Palm Beach, Fla., and Thomas M. Castagna of Brookfield; also two brothers, Paul and Armand Castagna of California. He will be missed by many loving aunts, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his son, Christopher Castagna.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Feb. 1 at St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Church, 138 Candlewood Lake Road, Brookfield, Conn. Burial will be in Ferncliff Cemetery, Hartsdale, N.Y.
