On Highway 12 in Flag City, Calif., Jason and Angie Leggitt are creating an empire providing all things RV, according a report in the Lodi News-Sentinel.

Want to check out a spanking-new motorhome with all the luxuries with a pricetag of $50,000 or more? They have them.

You can get a popup trailer for weekend jaunts to the mountains for much less.

You can rent a motorhome to attend the Burning Man festival in Nevada, buy parts and get your RV repaired.

You can even buy a shiny little toy trailer in their store.

Discover RV is a flourishing business that now includes six acres and 13 employees. The Leggitts recently won approval from San Joaquin County officials for an expansion.

Yet it is a business that began in the depths of the recession with a few scribbles on a sticky note.

“Starting out in the recession — sounds crazy, right?” said Jason Leggitt, a Lincoln High grad who sold cars before moving into RV sales and management in 2002. Angie Leggitt was born and raised in Lodi and earned an athletic scholarship to the University of Hawaii.
