The 2005 Go RVing dealer tie-in program is offering several added features from last year’s program, which attracted a record number of participants.
New this year is a looped version of the free Go RVing “getting started” DVD designed to play in dealer showrooms. The DVD, to be distributed to participating dealers later this month, follows five real RVing families in their RV adventures.
A new stock footage tape for use in local advertising by dealers, show promoters and their ad agencies is also being compiled from the DVD production footage. It became available for purchase in March.
Other features of the 2005 tie-in program include print ad and direct mail builders; the image library, updated with new photos taken during recent photo shoots; a downloadable and taggable radio spot featuring the voice of Tom Selleck; and the Go RVing Leads Database, to help dealers identify and follow up with prospective customers who have recently responded to the national ads.
Go RVing has also made it easier for consumers to find their local dealers in 2005. The www.GoRVing.com dealer locator has been enhanced to allow Go RVing web visitors to search for dealerships by company, zip code, area code, city, state or by market area as defined by Rand McNally.
The tie-in program participation levels reached an all-time high last year, with more than 764 participants.
“We are thrilled to see the dealers taking advantage of all the program has to offer,” said Tom Stinnett, Go RVing Coalition co-chairman. “We hope to see participation levels continue to grow in 2005.”
