For the second year in a row Virginia-based Dodd RV was recognized with the DealerRater National Dealer of the Year award for the highest customer satisfaction rating.
According to a press release, the award recognizes top U.S. and Canadian RV dealers that demonstrate excellent customer service as expressed by consumer reviews submitted to DealerRater.com.
“RV buyers have spoken and identified Dodd RV as the best recreational vehicles dealer to do business with in the U.S,” said DealerRater CEO Gary Tucker. “The quality and number of reviews for Dodd RV speak volumes of the top-notch experiences they provide to customers.”
The DealerRater Dealer of the Year Award is based on reviews by new and used RV shoppers and those who took their RVs into dealerships for service. Reviewers evaluated Dodd RV on its customer service, quality of work, friendliness, pricing and overall experience.
“Dodd RV has demonstrated consistently high PowerScore ratings for customer satisfaction, placing it in the top of its class,” said Tucker, noting that the PowerScore is determined using a Bayesian algorithm that factors the dealership’s average DealerRater consumer rating and the total number of reviews written about the dealership during the 2016 calendar year.
“It means a lot for us to be awarded the national award for superior customer service,” said owner Jamie Dodd. “It means our team is doing a great job with guests, day in and day out. The guests are clearly sharing their experience online with everybody. It’s just a phenomenal thing when people think highly of you and will take the time to do that. We look at the reviews as stories for their time invested in us. It shows that they are pleased with our service and their experiences.
“It starts from the top. We really want to take excellent care of our guests. We train everyone to make sure our guests are happy,” Dodd added. “We do a lot of things for guests that aren’t required. We just value the people that have decided to come and visit us. They have so many choices today with the internet opening up purchasing options. So, we really do try to think of the relationships for the long haul and invest in them in as many ways as we can.”
