Decorator Industries Inc., a supplier of interior furnishings to the RV, manufactured-home and hospitality industries, reports its RV industry-related sales increased 16% during the first quarter of this year.
Consequently, Decorator’s RV-related sales growth outpaced that of the RV industry itself, which experienced 8% shipments growth during the first three months of the year, according to William Bassett, chairman.
Decorator’s total sales revenue increased 10% during the three months ended March 29 to $9.78 million, compared with $8.92 million during the first three months of 2002.
The American Stock Exchange-listed company’s net income increased 1% during the first quarter to $307,900, compared with $305,100 a year earlier.
