Dometic acquired Atwood Mobile Products in October 2014 and has been strategically working toward integrating the teams to provide the most value to its customers. The company unveiled changes in a press release today (June 22):
- John Primm will retain his position as director of sales – RV aftermarket, with a focus on dealers and distribution. Primm will manage the Dometic outside sales group which will be providing customer support for all Dometic brands, including Atwood and Fan-Tastic Vent.
- The retail group will continue to be led by Derek Laninga, director of sales – retail, and he will continue to be supported by Lisa Wepf, retail accounts manager, and Jeff Spencer, national accounts manager.
- Dometic announced an RV-focused marketing group in Elkhart, Ind., that will be led by Trey Miller in a new role as director of RV marketing for Dometic, Atwood, and Fan-Tastic Vent brands. He will be supported by Fay Flournoy, marketing manager, and Kristin Durham, product marketing manager.
- Theresa Brown will retain her role as the product manager, but will now also oversee the Atwood and Fan-Tastic Vent brands. She will continue to be supported by Alana Hanrahan, assistant product manager.
“We are really excited about this new organizational alignment as we utilize the individual strengths in the team to best support our customers, said Kip Ellis, vice president of aftermarket sales and marketing. “This new structure will enable us to be more flexible in addressing customer needs, while focusing on growth areas.”
A detailed transition plan has been developed, and the new structure will be in place July 1, the company said.
