Opening day of the 2014 National RV Trade Show will see John Draheim, CEO of Allied Recreation Group and president of Fleetwood RV, “showering for charity” at the Truma’s display in Booth Nos. 192-195, Hall 1 of the South Wing.
At 3 p.m. on Dec. 2 the Fleetwood RV executive will take a very public shower using the new Truma AquaGo instant water heater. As part of a cooperative promotion of the newly redesigned Fleetwood Discovery featuring the Truma AquaGo, Truma will donate $5,000 to the Fisher House Foundation, Draheim’s favorite charity. Fisher House Foundation is best known for its network of comfort homes where military and veterans’ families can stay at no cost while a loved one is receiving treatment.
Fleetwood RV is one of the RV manufacturers featuring the revolutionary Truma AquaGo, which has been engineered, field-tested, and manufactured specifically for the North American RV market. The innovative water heater provides an instant, constant, and endless supply of 120-degree hot water, and is designed to fit in the same space as a six-gallon traditional tank water heater.
Draheim will hose himself down using hot water from a functioning AquaGo at the Truma booth for all to see. “We thought this would be a fun way to demonstrate the capabilities of the Truma AquaGo to provide the kind of shower every RVer would like to take, but often finds hard to do with existing systems,” said Truma Vice President of Sales and Marketing Elden Wood. “We’re happy to make this donation to the Fisher House Foundation to support veterans and their families.”
An interactive display at the Truma booth will also allow visitors an opportunity to experience for themselves the instant, constant, and endless hot water produced by the Truma AquaGo.
