Dream RV, Bradenton, Fla., is moving into a seven-acre site in nearby East Manatee to build a bigger dealership, according to the Bradenton Herald.
Dan Wylie, president of Dream RV, told the newspaper that the company is spending $2.5 million on a new dealership in the Gulf Coast city.
Dream RV’s new home will have a 3,000-square-foot administrative office building and should be finished by January, Wylie said.
He said the company is limited by its Bradenton location and can’t keep up with a growing demand for RV product.
“It’s been a hindrance to us the past year and a half,” he told the Herald. “The RV industry has fared pretty well. Our numbers are up quite a bit from last year, and our numbers were up then.”
Dream RV will eventually close its Bradenton site.
Local sales account for 80% of his business, Wylie said, adding that the region “has been very good to us.”
