Dutchmen RV, a Goshen, Ind.-based division of Keystone RV Co., launched the Astoria, a mid-profile fifth-wheel under the Aerolite badge. The line also includes more than 20 travel trailers and expandable models.
Two floorplans, with more planned, debuted at September’s Elkhart RV Open House: the rear lounge 2513RLF and the 3013BHF double-over-double bunkhouse. The 2513 comes in at 30 feet long and 7,650 pounds unloaded, while the 35-foot, 6-inch 3013 has a dry weight of 8,700 pounds. MSRPs will range from about $34,000 to $49,900.
“We’re looking at a half-ton towable that’s lightweight, but feature-rich,” said Product Manager Andy Cunningham. “When you really take a look at the product in this mid-profile segment, the goal, quite frankly, is some uniqueness in floorplans, but it’s also driven by the high-end features at a very affordable price point.”
Features include four-point leveling system, inCommand electronic control system, 8-cubic-foot stainless steel refrigerator, solid surface countertops, modern glass fireplaces, 40-inch television among many standard features.
