Featuring three basic floorplans in lengths of 27 to 35 feet with either one or two slideouts, the new ISATA Touring Sedan F-series diesel minimotorhome by Dynamax Corp., Elkhart, Ind., almost could be considered a custom coach. Built on 19,000-pound GVWR Ford F-550 chassis, the Touring Sedan F-series features aerodynamic vacuum-laminated fiberglass panels on square-tube aluminum sidewalls with a molded fiberglass rear cap. Amenities include low-level aisle lighting, solid oak cabinet fronts and raised-panel doors, Corian countertops and a choice of four decor options. “The big advantage with the F-550 chassis is that you have a lot more options – four-wheel drive, and it can have either a gas or diesel engine,” reports Terry Ericson, director of manufacturing. The 27-foot 27L floorplan shown here features a single queen sofa slideout and rear-entry doorway, and retails for about $144,000.
