EarthRoamer, builder of the four-wheel-drive Xpedition Vehicle, announced the promotion of Tyler Tatro to president. According to a press release, Tatro will also retain his duties as COO.
“Tyler’s strong work ethic, confident leadership style and diverse experience in every aspect of the EarthRoamer business, uniquely qualifies him to lead the next stage of EarthRoamer’s growth,” said Bill Swails, founder and CEO. “In Tyler’s capable hands, I am confident that EarthRoamer will continue to advance its leadership position in the global expedition vehicle marketplace.
Tatro, 30, joined the Dacano, Colo.-based company in 2007 as a production technician, which was followed by a rapid series of promotions to service manager, production manager and sales manager.
“He taught himself the required systems and software along the way, and took the initiative to improve or create processes that have streamlined the business and strengthened the EarthRoamer brand,” said Swails.
Tatro received his bachelor’s in business management from Colorado University and currently lives in Westminster, Colo., with his wife, Jessica, and son Wells.
