Rental firm El Monte RV has hired a British promotios firm to help it market RV rental vacations in the U.S. to residents of the United Kingdom.
El Monte has appointed MGA International as its general sales agent to manage sales, marketing and public relations functions for El Monte RV in the U.K. and to work with consumers, travel agents and wholesalers to increase awareness and bookings for the company.
“MGA International has a proven track record for elevating brand-name recognition for companies looking to increase travel bookings to America,” says Kirby Sandberg, manager of international marketing for El Monte RV.
In addition to El Monte RV, MGA International represents companies such as Cendant Hotel Group – owner of Days Inn, Howard Johnson, Ramada, Super 8 – and America West Airlines.
MGA works with companies that traditionally target the family market but will also be looking to introduce the RV experience through companies that target the discerning traveler looking for soft adventure and an alternative holiday style.

Todd also will serve as the public relations representative for El Monte RV in the U.K. She is a director of the Visit USA Association in the U.K. and chairwoman of the public relations committee.
El Monte RV has over 50 locations throughout the U.S. with easy access to its units from all major international airports. It rents more than 10 models, sizes and types of newer-model motorhomes and is the only company that offers diesel-pusher Class A motorhomes.
