The presidential election impasse caused the Nasdaq composite to fall on Wednesday to its lowest point in 13 months, according to market analysts.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average and most RV stocks also were down.

The Nasdaq fell 116 points, or 4%, on Wednesday, while the Dow declined 95 points, or 0.9%.

Certain market analysts were quoted Wednesday saying they fear the economy might lapse into a recession, and that apparently caused the stock of retail dealership chain Holiday RV Superstores to plunge 7/16, or 10%, on Wednesday to close at 3 15/16.

The stock of high-line Class A motorhome manufacturer SMC also fell 1/4, or 11%, on Wednesday to close at 1 15/16.

Coast Distribution also declined 1/16, or 6%, on Wednesday to close at 15/16.
