Elkhart, Ind., Mayor Dick Moore will be hosting the fourth annual Elkhart Economic Development Summit today (Oct. 24) at the Lerner Crystal Ballroom from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

According to a press release, the Summit brings together business, community, and government leaders from throughout the city of Elkhart, Elkhart County and the Michiana region.

The keynote speaker will be Aaron M. Renn, who oversees “The Urbanophile.” Renn is an opinion-leading urban affairs analyst, entrepreneur, speaker and writer on “a mission to help America’s cities thrive in the 21st century.”

The agenda will also include: Robert Bach, national director, market analytics, Newmark Grubb Knight Frank; Greg Vollmer, president & CEO, Northern Indiana Workforce Board; Tim Braun, entrepreneur in residence, Elevate Ventures; Brian Wiebe, director, Horizon Education Alliance; Dorinda Heiden-Guss, president, Economic Development Corporation of Elkhart County; and Shawn Peterson, president, Corporate Partnership for Economic Growth.
